probation
Three month probation is over and now it’s time to fuck around. haha, j/k. boss man was even more impressed with the things that don’t even relate to my everyday job and aren’t part of the job description than my regular day-to-day stuff. Things I’ve learned and taken on in the past help today’s demands of this growing company. Let’s see if I can get them...

Blog
Well it seems that Posterous was purchased by Twitter for whatever reason and my initial attempt to keep Tumblr and a rambling geek blog has failed. It’s probably for the best as I’m lazy and don’t want to have to manage them all, it’s already hard enough to manage Facebook/Twitter/Google+/Tumblr. Good thing My Space doesn’t exist any more, or does it.
Carry on,...

Systems Administration
Why does Microsoft hate us? Is the root of the C:\ drive really the best place for you to default an extraction of an Installer file? Why would I want to have the root of the drive a cluster? One will never know…

Evernote
I’m still young (at heart) but I can’t remember the things I should. I still have yet to remember my bank pin, just where the number are on the PIN pad. But for things I don’t want to forget, there’s Evernote. My favorite thing about the service is that it’s everywhere I need it to be. iPad, Android, Windows and my various Mac’s. While I like to share my...

Family time.
While having dinner at home is always good, it’s even better to go out and spend the evening with the family and have someone else cook. Good times tonight.

Client: “Can you photoshop a smile on Greg’s face. That guy is so depressing.” Me: “Well, I think it looks just fi—” Client: “We’re a travel agency, we’re supposed to sell good times to people. Greg just looks like he’s selling misery. He looks like Eeyore.” Me: “I don’t think he looks—”
29
yes, it’s true, 29. I really breath deep when people ask me how old I am. It’s inevitable, getting old. Some people don’t think that I’m 29… me neither :). The best thing about getting old is the people that I’ve become friends with and have been with me thru and thru. I don’t talk to them all but they are still there in the shadows watching and keeping an...

people
In a world with 1billion+ people, not many of them have an affect on my life. I’ve been thru stuff like the rest of you, but I rarely let anyone bother me. I’ve had bosses yell at me, talk down to me. Co-workers who think they know it all and try to put themselves out there.
Yet, there’s only one person who can ruin my day in only a few words. I won’t put them out there,...

getting old
I really don’t mind getting old. It’s a part of life. Like losing your first tooth, virginity, car keys. The thing that bothers me, is where does all this body hair come from. I mean sometimes it’s like you should take a swim in nair because it’s just in random places! And the older I get, the more random it becomes!
I would have thought that with natural selection and...
